The Centre for Place Branding (CfPB) is an independent online centre dedicated to two main objectives:
- to provide research, consultancy, and training services to public and private sector organizations that are engaged in nation, city and region branding activities including tourism and trade promotion, investment attraction, and public diplomacy.
- to support the teaching of place branding as an interesting and relevant subject within university degree programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The CfPB adopts a flexible approach to achieving the above objectives by drawing upon a network of established expert professionals and academics on an ad hoc basis; delivering customizable workshops on a variety of place branding topics; and helping academics to disseminate their place branding research.
